SOME MUCH TO SEE, DO AND EXPLORE

Combe Martin bay in the sunshine with prople swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding in the calm waters

The beach front village of Combe Martin is just a 10 minute walk from the property along the south west coast path. The sheltered beach stretches out wide during low tide and offers the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, rock pooling and exploring. Due to the bay's calm waters the beach is also the perfect spot for kayaking and paddle boarding with hire shops in the village offering instruction and tours. There are several shops, cafes and pubs near to the beach and along the high street.

The coastal harbour town of Ilfracombe is just a 10 minute direct drive away or a 2-3 hour walk on the south west coast path. Here you will find a traditional fishing harbour, beaches, visitor attractions and many shops, pubs and restaurants. Famously you will also discover the statue of 'Verity' standing proudly at the end of the quay, an impressive bronze artwork on loan to the town by former resident artist Damien Hirst.
